VIVANT AMBIT

I've been using this device for quite a while, owning a total of 4 Ambits over the past 5 years. The first ones I bought worked amazingly well, each lasting an average of 2.5 years. The only downside was that the inner rubber would wear out from the heat, and after a while, it couldn't hold the metal screen in place anymore. Not perfect, but still solid.

This year, I bought 2 more Ambits and noticed a few differences compared to the first ones I had. First off, they redesigned the inner rubber, so the issue is finally gone. Props to Vivant for that. But then I noticed the mouthpiece felt a bit lighter, like the plastic wasn’t as dense as it used to be. One of the mouthpieces cracked pretty quickly due to daily use and became unusable, while the other one is holding up but already has a crack.

After about 3 months of use, one of the devices suddenly stopped working. The battery is fully charged, but I can’t start a session because the LED screen keeps saying the battery is low, and it won’t heat up. The second device is still working fine for now, but yeah... mixed feelings this time around.

That said, I think the battery issue might just be a one-off case. I just wish the mouthpiece wasn’t so fragile and had the same quality as before. Overall, it’s a solid device for the price, and I’ll probably grab a couple more as backups soon.

I got my Vivant Ambit back in July and loved it, however around November the screen became very dark to the point I couldn't tell if the unit was on or not (The unit still works). So I drop a line to Vivant customer service to ast if it's a setting issue I can adjust. Customer service requested a short video showing the issue I have and upon review of the video I sent, to my surprise, they sent me a new unit ! 
Now, that's a company that stands behind its product!

Easy to use and clean and offers a good draw!

So, it turns out, that dry herb vaping is not my thing. I gave it 5 stars because the Ambit does everything it’s promised to do. And it did it well! I guess it just comes down to your taste tho, and the price was not too bad to find out. Also, I gave it to my girlfriend and she actually loves it. It wasn’t for me, but honestly it did everything it was supposed to. At high heat, it doesn’t ignite the herb. But it is noticeably more brown, maybe singed. Again, I’m disappointed this form of consumption isn’t for me, but the device just works well. And my girlfriend uses it, so it found a loving home.
